New Principal Hired!

The Moses Lake School District is pleased to announce that Guinevere Joyce has agreed to terms to become the next principal of Frontier Middle School, effective July 1, 2020.

"The community involvement and sense of team-approach I see happening at Frontier and throughout the District are impressive," says Mrs. Joyce. "I am absolutely very excited to come to Moses Lake!"

Mrs. Joyce distinguished herself as the best fit for this position through her demonstrated leadership, exceptional professional experience, and enthusiasm for the learning community. With a Masters in Educational Leadership from Seattle Pacific University, Mrs. Joyce has over nine years of teaching experience as well as nearly five years of administrative experience in all grade levels in K-12 education. She is currently the Principal at Highlands High school in Omak, a role she earned in 2017 in addition to her role as Assistant Principal of Omak High School, which began in 2015.

“We cannot wait for Mrs. Joyce to join our team and begin her leadership at Frontier Middle School,” stated Superintendent Dr. Joshua Meek. “This was a very competitive process and we were fortunate to have several strong candidates, but Mrs. Joyce proved exceptional. We are confident that she will be an excellent leader for the students, staff, and Frontier Middle School community. Frontier Middle School is a great middle school that has been making excellent academic progress in a positive and welcoming environment -- Mrs. Joyce will fit right in with this amazing school.”
