We are excited to announce that the Moses Lake High School Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform at the 2023 National Invitational of Band and Orchestra, hosted at Carnegie Hall, in New York City.
World-renowned, Carnegie Hall is one of the most prestigious venues a musician can perform at. The wind ensemble was selected via audition– an honor that is only given to 20 bands across the country each year!
Band director Pablo Hernandez says, "This is a BIG deal and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! The fact that our students achieved such an incredible honor coming out of a pandemic year speaks to their dedication and resilience."
The April 7, 2023 performance will require around $80,000 to finance travel and expenses for students.
