Elementary #12 (Opening Fall 2025)

MARCH 2023 UPDATE – 

The Elementary School #12 Project is currently in progress, with the final stages of executing the purchase and sale agreement from the current property owners near completion. Several key factors have impacted the project's timeline, including the determination of water rights and planned irrigation techniques, permitting at the City and County levels, site studies encompassing sensitive wildlife and Native American history, the requirement for short platting the site from a larger parcel, and ensuring the availability of necessary infrastructure for the school's operation by the MLSD and neighboring current and future housing developments. The project’s current target date for completion is for the beginning of school in the Fall of 2025. As the purchase agreement is finalized and the project progresses into the bidding phase, we anticipate continued progress toward achieving this goal.

Next milestones: Closing on Purchase & Sale Agreements (land & water), solicitation of bids (Q4 2023)

The design of Elementary 12 is based on the same design as Groff Elementary, with some improvements and additions.
