Open Doors

Welcome to the
Open Doors Program
of Moses Lake

Beginning the 2021-2022 School year, the Open Doors Program, previously partnered with Big Bend Community College, will be managed and run by the Moses Lake School District. With this change will come the transition of the program and a fresh new outlook on the Open Doors Re-engagement Program.

What is Open Doors:

Open Doors Youth Reengagement (WAC 392-700) is a re-engagement system that provides education and services to older youth, ages 16-21, who have dropped out of school or are not expected to graduate from high school by the age of 21.

The Open Doors Program strives to re-engage disconnected youth through programs that encourage community partnerships, create multiple pathways for students to realize success, and provide an on-ramp to post-secondary achievement through a performance-based, individualized support model.
