COVID-19 Employee Resources
SYMPTOMATIC OR POSITIVE
- If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, please test. At home tests are accepted. Employees can get an at-home test at the Learning Services Center. Please wear a mask if you are picking up a test.
- If you test positive, email covid@mlsd161.org with the date you began experiencing symptoms and the date you tested positive.
- You will be provided with direction regarding your return to work date. Day zero is the date symptoms began. You will need to isolate for five days and can return to work on the sixth day if:
- You have been fever free (below 100 degrees0 for 24 hours without medication, AND
- Symptoms have significantly improved, AND
- You should wear a mask for days 6-10.
EXPOSURE / CLOSE CONTACT
If you are exposed to COVID, you can continue to work if you do not have symptoms.
COVID ABSENCES
There is no COVID leave available for the 2023-24 school year. Staff will use their accrued paid leave for COVID absences.
