Two years ago, District office staff costs for MLSD were $4.6 million. Today, the total staff cost is $3.7 million.  Two years ago, 43 employees worked at the district office; today this number is 35.

All administrative replacement positions at the district office were hired for lower salaries than previous employees and no positions were given raises.

Bottom line: District office staff costs have been reduced by nearly $1 million.
