Specific and measurable goals are necessary to accomplish the long-lasting positive change our students deserve.

Creation of the Strategic Plan
 
The Strategic Plan is a document used to communicate Moses Lake School District's goals, the priorities needed to achieve those goals, and metrics used to measure progress on those goals. It includes both the academic and operational aspects of the school district.

Form Strategic Planning Committee
Created a 72-member Planning Committee including leaders and staff within the district, parents, students, and community members to develop a strategic plan.
 
 
Gather Input and Draft Components
Hosted six committee meetings to identify key areas of priority and improvement for the district, then drafted strategic plan.
 
 
Gather and Assess Feedback on Draft
Engaged the broader community in an approval survey and public forum to elicit feedback.
 
 
Finalize Plan and Present to Board of Directors
Incorporated community feedback into a finalized strategic plan and presented to the school board for approval and adoption.
