Student Transport Authorization
All district staff who transport students in a district vehicle must be authorized each school year. The following is the process for obtaining authorization.
- Policy 5201 – Drug Free Schools, Community and Workplace
- Policy 6625 – Private Vehicle Transportation
- Policy 6640 – School Owned Vehicles
- Motor Pool Procedures
- Driver Certification Statement and Acknowledgement Statement
- Annual Disclosure Statement
- Check Off List
You will need to complete the following and send documentation to Transportation:
- Read the policies and guidelines.
- Complete the following Safe Schools training modules and print the certificates:
City Driving // Defensive Driving // Road Rage // Winter Driving
- Sign the driver certification and acknowledgement statement.
- Annual Disclosure Statement
- Provide a copy of your license.
- Provide a copy of a current First Aid/CPR card.
- Provide a copy of your personal auto insurance card.
- Provide a COMPLETE driving abstract that has a minimum of 5 years history.
Upon review, you will be issued an authorization card that is effective for the current school year.
