Beau Phillips named New Principal, North Elementary 

Moses Lake, Washington– The Moses Lake School District is pleased to announce Beau Phillips as the new principal for North Elementary School starting the 2022-2023 school year, following the retirement of current principal Kelly Frederick. 

While Mr. Phillips’ 17-year educational career began in Boardman, Oregon– he has spent the last 15 years dedicated to serving the Moses Lake community. His tenure in the school district includes 12 years at North Elementary teaching 2nd grade, 5th grade, instructing as a Reading Specialist and serving as an Instructional Coach.

“I am a life-long learner,” says Phillips, “I value the opportunities great education creates in the lives of our students.” His drive to continue positively impacting youth in Moses Lake led him to pursue administrative credentials from Western Governors University.  Phillips became the Endeavor Middle School Dean of Students and Assistant Principal, where he served for the last three years.

Upon acceptance of his new position, Mr. Phillips expressed, “I’m honored to return to North Elementary as the principal. The educational staff in our North community is truly an amazing group of individuals who are dedicated to the safety, success and well-being of all students. I look forward to continuing the outstanding work of Mrs. Frederick and to be an advocate for our students and their families.”

Mr. Phillips resides in Moses Lake and enjoys hiking and backpacking, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
