Secondary Special Education Coach
Supporting our staff and students at Moses Lake School District is our number one priority. As the Secondary Special Education Coach, I work closely to provide the supports in a direct services model with staff to assist in the educational growth and development for all students.
- Support special education staff with instructional practices, materials, and strategies.
- Legal compliance of paperwork, documentation, and programming for all students.
- Support transition from program to program for our students.
- Provide professional development courses for special education staff to increase efficacy and outcomes for students.
- Ensure student programming needs of students are met.
- Assist teams through the dispute resolution process.
- Support the practice of inclusionary practices in our school district.
- Monitor and support the postsecondary outcomes for special education students.
- Dropout supports and programming for our students to re engage in schooling.
- Support postsecondary planning and needs for special education students
