Moses Lake School District has adopted

A Parent / Teacher / Student Communication Tool

We are excited to share that Moses Lake School District is adopting Remind, district-wide, make connecting with our families more engaging! Remind offers educators, students, parents, and guardians a safe and effective way to communicate about school assignments and grades, ask questions, collaborate, and more.

If you're not already familiar with Remind, it is a classroom communication tool that is free to use and makes it easy to stay involved with your child's learning. With Remind, you'll be able to get and send messages on any device—even a simple text message from your phone!

As part of this rollout, official accounts have been created for all the educators, parents, and students at Moses Lake School District. Keep an eye on your email for an invitation and login instructions (if you have an email in Skyward). If your child’s teacher uses Remind, you may also receive a text or email to join their Remind class.

*Please note this program is currently being rolled out. Not all teachers or classes will be available immediately for communication.

Teachers, Remind has a voice call feature!

With voice calls, members of your community can call any phone through Remind, including landlines. You can set office hours, and parents will be able to call within those hours.

Once a call is complete, your voice call duration will be recorded in your conversation with the recipient. It will also appear in your call log and your message history. This is a nice way to track when you spoke with a parent if needed at a later date.

Use call notes to record any call details or follow-ups. You can take notes during or after a call. These notes are also available in your conversation with the recipient.
