Superintendent Lewis Addresses Community

During last night’s Moses Lake School District Board meeting, Superintendent Lewis addressed questions related to elementary schedules, the recently ratified agreement with the Moses Lake Education Association, and the District’s continued focus on long-term financial stability.
Superintendent Lewis reaffirmed the District’s commitment to honoring the agreement approved in December, delivering all levy promises made for the 2025–26 school year, and restoring additional elementary programming — including expanded library access, music, physical education, and teacher planning time — beginning in fall 2026, when full levy funding becomes available.
The District remains focused on maintaining financial stability, meeting its commitments to students and staff, and continuing planned program restoration following the impacts of the double levy failure.
