In alignment with the collective bargaining agreement, the parties are engaging in the annual bargaining of re-openers.

ARTICLE X.  DURATION

This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect from September 1, 2025 to and including August 31, 2028.  During the term of this Agreement, the District will apply any inflationary adjustment from the State to the salary schedule.  Legislative impact will be an automatic opener each year to address changes that are implemented by the State. Either Party may bring two (2) additional items as re-openers for each year of the Agreement. 

On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the District received a demand to bargain from the Moses Lake Education Association regarding the potential impacts associated with the additional instructional minutes for Kindergarten and first-grade students. The following proposals have been presented through that bargaining process.
