Moses Lake School District Celebrates Education Support Professionals Week

Each school day across the Moses Lake School District, thousands of students arrive ready to learn. Behind the scenes—and often in the first moments of a student’s day—is a dedicated team of professionals who help make that learning possible.
During Education Support Professionals Week, Moses Lake School District is proud to recognize the many staff members whose work supports students, teachers, and schools in countless ways.
Education Support Professionals include paraprofessionals, custodial and maintenance teams, transportation staff, food service teams, office professionals, health services staff, technology specialists, warehouse personnel, and security staff. While their roles vary widely, they share a common purpose: ensuring that schools are safe, welcoming, and ready for learning every single day.
For many students, a bus driver offers the first smile of the morning. Custodial and maintenance teams work early mornings and late evenings to keep schools clean and safe. Nutrition services staff prepare meals that fuel learning, while paraprofessionals provide essential support in classrooms to help students succeed. Office staff greet families, health room staff care for students when they need it most, and technology teams keep the systems that support modern learning running smoothly.
These professionals are an essential part of the district’s commitment to supporting students and strengthening schools across the community.
Across the district, students and staff are taking time this week to recognize and thank the individuals whose efforts often happen quietly but make a tremendous difference.
The Moses Lake School District extends its sincere appreciation to all Education Support Professionals for the important role they play in serving students, supporting schools, and strengthening the community.
