Teaching & Learning: MLHS Ag Science

Step inside the greenhouse at Moses Lake High School, and you’ll find more than just plants growing—you’ll see hands-on learning coming to life.
Our Ag Science students have been hard at work planting, nurturing, and monitoring a variety of plants, gaining real-world experience in agriculture, sustainability, and responsibility. From seed to sprout, every step is an opportunity to learn skills that connect directly to future careers and everyday life.
And that's not all. Some of our newest learners have arrived… baby chicks! Students are helping care for them daily, learning about animal science, life cycles, and the dedication it takes to raise livestock.
This is what learning looks like beyond the classroom—engaging, meaningful, and rooted in real experiences.
